Workers Compensation PA increase, but you can still control your costs

The costs associated with workers’ compensation insurance have been rising at a rate equal to, or greater than, the cost of health insurance. Companies in the region are experiencing cost increases typically ranging 20% to 40% annually. Organizations that have exceeded the average accident rate for their manufacturing classifications are either being dropped or charged multiple premium increases.

This workshop will address several actions a company can take to control or reduce workers’ compensation costs.

Who Should Attend: Managers, safety personnel, human resource managers, or any one who is responsible for managing workers compensation within a manufacturing facility.

Program Content:

  • Establishing and maintaining a safety committee
  • Choosing the panel list of medical providers
  • Establishing or revising a light duty return to work program
  • Working with your compensation insurance carrier
  • Using occupational physical therapy
  • Additional strategies you can use to prevent losses
