SPC or Statistical Process Control

Statistical Process Control is a tool to predict what process will do over time. By using the above Problem Solving Tools and Root Cause Analysis, you have isolated where your process problems occur. SPC can be applied to hold the gains that have been made through Corrective and Preventive Action. SPC lets you predict when something is going to go wrong. During the two day training we cover basic, advanced and short run SPC. 

Program Content:

  • The Normal Distribution
  • Variables Control Charts: X-R, MX-R, X-MR, X-s, Median, Short Run Charts
  • Control Charts: p, np, c, u charts

The difference between Common and Special causes of variation. Control chart analysis for trends, jumps in process level, recurring cycles, points near or outside limits and lack of variability. Analyze the process to determine Process Capability.
