OSHA 10-Hour Voluntary Compliance Course for Construction Industry

This safety program introduces the safety regulations and guidelines OSHA has promulgated for the construction industry. This 2-day course will cover the basics of the OSHA construction standards which participants will be able to immediately apply to their workplace. You will be able to resolve safety concerns that face the construction industry; recognize construction processes, materials and equipment; specify OSHA standards in 29 CFR 1926; and identify common construction hazards and recommended abatement methods.

You will receive a completion card from OSHA after completing this course.

Who should attend: The 10-hour program is intended to provide instruction on a variety of construction industry safety and health standards to any person who works on a construction site.

Program Content:

  • Introduction to OSHA, the OSHA act, and the general duty clause
  • Electrical, scaffolding, and excavations
  • Materials handling, storage, & disposal
  • Cranes, hoists, derricks, elevators, and conveyors
  • Motor vehicles, mechanized and construction equipment
