HIPAA Compliance

The final HIPAA privacy rules have been issued and the deadlines for compliance began April 2003. Employers who sponsored group health plans and health plan providers are affected by the new regulations. The new privacy regulations address the way employee health information is maintained and transmitted by employers, health care providers and health care plans. The rules are extensive and the penalties for non-compliance are significant.

This full day program is designed to provide employers with information and resources they need to ensure compliance with the new HIPAA rules.
