WAGE AND SALARY SURVEY

The MAEA’s annual Wage and Salary Survey is one of the most important services available to our members.  The result of the Survey allow you to compare your company’s wage and salary structure to that of your competitors’, provide benchmarking data for new or considered positions, and provide an accurate average and range for wage and salary negotiations.  Whether used in comparison, as a benchmark, or for negotiations, the Survey results are a valuable asset to your company.

Although the surveys may require some time and effort on the part of you and/or one of your staff members, we are sure that you will find the completed survey report to be well worth the effort. Only through you continued commitment to programs such as these are we able to provide all members with the highest quality information resources.

The usefulness and accuracy of this survey is directly related to the level of participation among the membership. We do not expect every company to have data on all surveyed positions, but please submit data from all positions which pertain to your company.

This year we have updated the position descriptors based on requests and information provided by member companies.  We have also changed the format to make it easier for you to provide wage and salary data.

A complimentary Survey Report for each section completed will be provided to all member companies who participate and return the Survey by the due date.  Surveys must be received no later than March 20, 2009.  Survey reports will be available for purchase by non-participating member companies as well as non-member companies.

Please download the Company Background Information Worksheet, fill in the data, and either fax (570-622-27726) or e-mail (jcurry@maea.biz) it back to the MAEA office.  Once reviewed by MAEA, we will provide you with a "Company ID #" that should be used when completing the actual Survey.
